INFRARED SCANNING

Infrared (IR) scanning is a non-invasive inspection technique. It uses a thermal imaging camera to detect high levels of heat, caused by high resistance connections.

STATIC TESTING

Identify all loose or corroded connections from the MCC to the motor using highly accurate phase-to phase resistance measures.

Detect rotor damage and air gap issues with RIC testing. Measure capacitance to ground for contamination. Detect faulty power circuit components like PFC and surge capacitors.

ONLINE TESTING

A Power Analysis test is performed on energized AC Induction, AC Synchronous, and AC Wound Rotor motors.

Power Analysis test results may indicate voltage imbalances, voltage and current spikes, excessive harmonie distortion, and stator faults.


The Power Analysis test indicates anomalies in the power quality, power circuit, and stator fault zones. High or low voltage in the power quality can result in possible saturation of the windings, higher currents, and possible overload of the stator windings.
